We use third-party financial institutions to process our credit card transactions. They receive the credit card number and other personal information of our donors and clients only to verify credit card numbers and to process credit card transactions in a secure environment.

How do we provide a secure environment for online transactions?

When you submit sensitive information through our website, your information is protected both online and offline.

Wherever we collect sensitive information online (such as credit card data), that information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way.

We also protect your information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers/servers in which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment. If your credit card information is taken by a FPEDV employee over the phone, your information will be destroyed and not kept on file.

Our online credit card verification system is handled by a third party, which collects your name, address, phone, email address and credit card information in order to process your transaction. Their encryption technology offers an extremely high level of security. They also have firewalls and other security technology in place to ensure the confidentiality of your transactions.
