Find a Batterers’ Intervention Program

In Florida, a Batterers’ Intervention Program (BIP) is a state-certified, 29-week program designed to hold individuals accountable for acts of domestic violence and teach nonviolent relationship skills.

Participation may be court-ordered following a domestic violence arrest or required as part of a probation agreement. These programs are not anger management—they’re structured to address power and control dynamics, challenge harmful beliefs, and promote long-term behavioral change. Florida law requires BIPs to follow specific standards set by the Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF).

Click the button below to access DCF’s Batterers’ Intervention Search portal.

Important: If someone you know is ordered to attend a BIP, it does not guarantee your safety. Always seek support from a certified domestic violence center or hotline: 1-800-500-1119.
