The FPEDV was founded in 2020 in response to the dismantling of the State’s former federally designated domestic violence coalition. The FPEDV is a Florida corporation. Federal EIN 85-2845792.

The FPEDV intends to become the HHS-Designated Domestic Violence Coalition for the State of Florida. This designation is expected to be formalized before the end of 2021, and will enable the Coalition to receive funding through The Family Violence Prevention and Services Act. 10% of the funds appropriated by Congress for FVPSA formula grants are allocated for the Coalitions. Each Coalition receives an equal share of the funding and these funds are used to coordinate and improve services available to survivors of domestic violence and their dependents.

At this time, the operations and activities of the FPEDV are funded by membership fees. The FPEDV’s budget for the current fiscal year is $209,718. As the coalition grows, this page will contain annual reports, financials and audited financial statements.

FPEDV is registered agency of Chapter 496, Florida Statutes, the Solicitation of Contributions Act, # CH65575.  A COPY OF THE OFFICIAL REGISTRATION AND FINANCIAL INFORMATION MAY BE OBTAINED FROM THE DIVISION OF CONSUMER SERVICES BY CALLING TOLL-FREE (800-435-7352) WITHIN THE STATE.  REGISTRATION DOES NOT IMPLY ENDORSEMENT, APPROVAL, OR RECOMMENDATION BY THE STATE.
