From Passion to Impact:
Serve on the FPEDV Board of Directors
We are currently recruiting new members to join FPEDV’s Board of Directors who are passionate about advancing our mission and bringing strategic leadership to the movement. We especially welcome individuals with experience in finance, accounting, or fundraising, as we strengthen our board’s capacity in these key areas.
This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact while guiding the future of domestic violence advocacy in Florida.
The Board of Directors is the governing body of FPEDV and play a critical role in shaping the coalition’s vision, providing strategic direction, financial oversight, and leadership to the organization.
To qualify for Board service, individuals must have a passion for ending domestic violence in Florida, align with FPEDV’s vision, mission and assurances, and have the time and capacity to actively engage as a member of the Board.
The time commitment includes a minimum of four quarterly meetings held virtually on the first Monday of the month at 3:00 p.m., along with a required annual in-person, two-day board training. Active participation on a Board committee is also expected.
Board applications are reviewed and voted on by FPEDV’s membership on a quarterly basis. To be considered, applications must be submitted by the following quarterly deadlines: September 1, December 1, March 1, and June 1.
To apply, please fill out the form, and a member of our staff will contact you.
